DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION TECHNICAL FEATURES BAWS – 06 is designed and manufactured to issue a warning in response to terrorist and biological attacks or an unusual increase in biological contamination of urban and hospital areas. The device uses a vacuum pump which samples a 28.3 liter volume of the ambient air and simultaneously evaluates the particulate matter using UV LED. For this purpose, an optical cell is designed and produced. If a particle is exposed to biological radiation, fluorescent light is emitted from the particle and received by the optical receiver, then processed by the electronic analyzer.
